When the season changes from summer to fall, temperature drops and store windows display twinkly Christmas lights, we know 'Tis the season.


'Tis indeed is the season to be merry, to celebrate with friends and family over festive dinners and open presents by the Christmas tree, in the warmth and comfort of our homes. Unfortunately, not all of us have that privilege to be safe and warm, sometimes, some of us, women and children, experience tragic events in our lives that we need support and help from others.

Maybe this Christmas, we can do something to help, share our bounty and give back.

Twenty York Street is proud and excited to share this with you: organized by a group of five charitable and generous professional women (Tracey Creighton, Ghita-Marie Melody, Rachel Stockman) CHICKS'MAS BASH is an annual charity event that has been supporting Harmony House, a second-stage shelter for women and children. Why not get your friends together for a girls night out on Thursday, November 22nd at the Velvet Room, to network with professional women and to raise funds for a charity that needs your valuable support.

Over the last 11 years, Chicks’mas Bash has raised over $58,000 for Harmony House and this year, with your help, we hope to raise even more.

In 1987, Harmony House opened  in response to a need for safe, longer-term housing and support for abused women and their children fleeing violent situations. Since January 1987, Harmony House has provided safe shelter and support to women and children who have lived there.
