More Disclaimer: I will try my darndest not use the word ADORABLE as much but don't say you haven't been warned.
I'm in love.
One of the questions bloggers, especially fashion bloggers, are often asked is this:
Where do you get your sartorial inspiration?
There's usually a long and quite interesting list of sources bloggers/writers/stylists mention, be it magazines, movies, art, architecture, painting, books, other bloggers, street fashion - you name it, it's endless and it's true.
Seriously and deliciously adorable, isn't it?
Is it terrible to admit that one, I still shop at GAP KIDS
and two, I have that teal ruffled skirt on the left?
I remember getting completely inspired by a vintage set of my mother's Chinese Blue and White Porcelain tableware that I hunted this Ikat-print dress from Banana Republic only to realize later that the colours really do look a lot better on the plates rather than on me.
The point however, is that inspiration is everywhere.
And I suppose at this point, you can tell what's been mine lately.
I don't know what it is but I am so drawn by these super adorable (there it is again!) baby and kids outfits. They're made of the softest, plushest fabric, created with the most whimsical of imaginations - from tassels and feathers to pompoms and bows, from stripes and polka dots to sequins and ruffles.
All images used, courtesy of GAP KIDS.
And the colours, oh the colours are so free and alive.
It's a good thing I've got so many little babies and kids (nephews, nieces and cousins and friend's children) to buy for this Christmas.
How else would I sneak in buying that little (by little I meant the XXL) pink tutu number for myself?
