One thing I really love (and now miss) about the summer is Sunday morning (morning used very loosely) brunch with friends and family. Not that you stop having brunch when summer is over but Fall and Winter brunch is just not as exciting and free for me.
Just the thought of removing layers after layers of sweaters, scarves and thick coats, make my eggs hard boiled instead of the usual sunny side up.

"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
- Audrey Hepburn
There's just something so free, laid back about lazy days of summer especially on a Sunday that I really wouldn't mind fast forwarding the next few months to April. I do love the occasional snow of course, specifically on special days like Christmas and the few nights this season that I'll spend on the ski hill but other than that, I love Ottawa in the summer. The patios are frivolous, the options are endless, the food is fresh and the spirit is light and joyful.
Until then, let's put together the best fashion ensemble we can for fall, yes? After all, those tempting leather boots and re-imagine winter coats are a fashionistas dream come true.
