Billings Bridge is giving away $10,000 worth of gift cards!

In exchange for a few good deeds. All you have to do is commit to doing something nice for a friend on Facebook and you’ll receive a gift card for $10, $25, or $50. And if you prove that you’ve done your deed within 72 hours, we’ll make a donation to Youth Net #nomorebullies campaign (up to $5,000).

I had the good fortune to be invited by Starfish Creative Events + Inspiration as part of the media delegation to unveil the Billings Bridge pop-up SMILE SHOP! The first of its kind that I've heard of and I'm truly excited to see how this will all play out and even more so excited about the fact that this is all done for a very good deed.

As you know, Mr. Fadi Ghaby, President of THANN North America (and recent winner of the Ottawa Business Journal's Forty Under 40 Awards) and I (Twenty York Street) have been great supporters of Majic Ottawa's #NOMOREBULLIES Campaign and this is the great cause that the Smile Shop is donating too! Most of Ottawa's notable citizens have lent their support to this campaign and in fact, Stuntman Stu, Majic Ottawa Radio Host, Ottawa Senators PA Announcer (and all-around local celebrity really) is going to be on-site to meet with the fans and SMILE SHOP supporters.

So, do you know someone who deserves a smile? Do you know someone who will want to do some good deeds in exchange for a piece of the $10,000 giveaway?

Here’s how it works:

1)    Visit The Smile Shop in Billings Bridge Centre Court on Saturday, May 26^th between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

2)    Choose a small, medium, or large deed you’d like to do to receive a $10, $25, or $50 gift card to Billings Bridge (while quantities last).

3)    Sign in to Facebook using our on-site iPads to commit to doing your deed for someone on your friend list.

4)    Receive the gift card that matches your deed!

5)    Post photographic proof that you did your deed on the Billings Bridge Facebook page by Wednesday, May 30^th, at 6pm. For each post we’ll make a donation to Majic 100′s “No More Bullies” Campaign, donations for Youth Net (CHEO). #NoMoreBullies
