What and Where
Can you believe it's been so ridiculously long since I last posted? It's been over five days since I last posted about The Pajama Project with my friend Shawnette from the Farmgirl Fashionista! I think this has been one of the longest time that I haven't posted or visited your blogs and it makes me very upset.
For the last four weeks, it has been insanely busy here for us at Twenty York Street. We have been privileged to have been invited to cover so many exciting and exclusive events here in the city, it has been an amazing experience but at the same time, I have to admit, really exhausting!
I know most of you, my blogger friends, post regularly - everyday, or at least Monday to Friday. That is honestly, very respectable for me. I don't know how you do it but I do admire you very much. Not only that you have to find the time and location to take good photos, you have to download them, prepare your lay-out and write the text for your post. I also know there are actual bloggers who makes a real living out of blogging but a majority of us, don't. We do it because we love it, don't we?
So, I suppose this post is about me saying hello again! Hello, my name is Marilou. ML to most of you! I suck at blogging. I haven't posted any of these wonderful photos and these superbly exhilarating events. For days, many times this played out over and over - I open my account, click on create new post and I just sat there, I just didn't know how to write. Has that ever happened to you?
I hope this is a temporary thing. I swear, I'm really good at writing. I even do it for a living.
Now unless you don't mind reading quotes after quotes in between my outfit photos, please throw a girl some bone and tell her how she can get over this!
Sun is pretty deceiving in Ottawa... it was absolutely chilly!
Love ya and miss ya!

OMG ML you know this is me all the time! I know you haven't had a chance to read all the posts but if you read my 2nd last Curls and Pearls post you'll see my dilemma. Hope we can chat about it!
It's ok you're still on twitter so I know you're still around ;)
I am loving the belt!

I love the outfit. Sorry you are having a hard time. Blogging 5-6 days a week is hard for me. But, I love it. I also don't have many extra events to go to. If I really started getting into the fashion scene it would be hard to keep up.
My Heart Blogged
Loving the pink stripes!
Thanks for your comment on my blog dear! You look fab in that crazy combination! You're obviously a fashion pro!! I'm not, but I'm a lazy blogger, so there: we have things in common! :)
I've been having a "writer's block" too lately, hopefully it'll just go away!
And your project looks fun (I wish I had some cute pj's to present!). Have a lovely week!
don't wory pretty lady that's the best thing about blogging whenever you post we'll be here and when you don't well be here too ... as long as you don't leave then your A OK in my book pretty lady !! loving the LV and those strips perfection , I'm not so excited for the PJ project PJ's are my least favorite thing but well see how it goes !!!
Hope your doing well butterfly kisses from N.Hollywood !!
you look stunning ML! i love stripes on you and your LV bag is so beautiful! =)
Wow, ML, you have style coming out your pores! You are so naturally fashionable and these pictures are the proof. Don't agonize over writing; just show us the pretty outfits!
I think it is so sweet that you mom got you a purse, but just an FYI - that isn't a real Louis Vuitton. I suspect you know that though since you just put LV in the listing. The Neverfull style doesn't have feet nor the leather trim along the bottom of the bag.
Hot dang, I love everything about this outfit. You look very pretty in these photos!
I Love this look! Especially the zebra belt mixed with the striped top. I have the same Tiffany bracelet lol.
Love your top. You look amazing.
Sorry you have bloggers block. When that happens to me I just write something (anything) and then when the words start to flow I delete everything and start again. The actual process of writing is normally enough to get everything going again. Hope that helps.
i love your top! and i love your belt, it's an interesting pattern mix with the top. and of course, your LV tote is beautiful!

Girl, we all need a break. You've been SUPREMELY busy and we all know that! LOVE this outfit, though. The combo of the dressy skirt and casual top is perfect. And the hot pink? COUNT ME IN! There's a sundress at Old Navy that I can't convince Husband is necessary... and that is making me sad. Because it's ALL HOT PINK with little cream paisleys on it.
Grr.
I want hot pink! You're fabulous and I just tweeted the Project!
Hey Hun, it's nice to see you posting again. I'm sure that most people would understand how life can take over and hobbies (like blogging) get put aside for a little while. You've developed a pretty loyal readership, and I'm sure that because you haven't been around much people won't stop following you. Once things settle and you decide to come back, everyone will be happy to read your blog once more.
But I'm also with Shybiker. Maybe just posting a few fashion pictures, with nothing else but maybe the outfit description would give us the ML fix we need ;)
BTW I LOVE your top! and Zebra belt... mixing up the patterns is so hot right now.
This is a very Mae outfit: Stripes and mixed patterns.
You look amazeballs, as always.
Now where's that linky tool for linking our pajama posts? I've already done mine as of 8AM this morning! <3

love the stripy top...smart and chic outfit.
You're amazing! I love everything about this outfit: the skirt, the stripes, the zebra print. Gorgeous!
I have Zebra shoes but I want that Zebra belt! It looks awesome with the gray skirt and pink striped top!
LOVE this!
The stripes! Bright pink stripes! I'm a total t-shirt girl and yours is swoon-worthy. Give it to me!!!! Roar!!!!
You look phenomenal! I LOVE the mixed stripes and the bright colors on you!!!
I think we all get writer's block. That doesn't mean you're not a good writer, it means you need a break. And less stress. And maybe more wine.
And a trip to Florida. Just sayin'.
Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
What a pretty combination! I love the pink stripes with the zebra belt--it's such a fun take on mixing stripes!
Great outfit! I love your photos...you have got some sass, lady! And I love the chunky watch.
This is such a cute combination!! I never would have thought of it, but now I want to run home and pick out an outfit that features it for tomorrow haha. What an inspiration you are to me today!
That's the most insanely bright striped top ever. I love it! The zebra belt is a great touch.
I love the colours you're wearing here!! Grey + pink look amazing together
