I Need Colours

Blacks, greys, charcoals and everything in between is what you see when you look into my closet. I told myself, it's 2011 and it's high time that I stop being afraid colours! I'm a grown woman for orange's sake! Though I know I won't be able to get all of these (a girl can always dream, yes?), here's my current Banana Republic craves:

What do you think of these coloured choices? Do you have any wish list in anticipation of spring?

I'm not a color person either, it makes me nervous! :)

I am in AWE of that ruffled button-down shirt! THAT is simply gorgeous and now I have to see if I can find a similar one. That dress is stunning, too! I know it won't be long until we see you in these. :)

You rock the neutrals but it is fun to bring in some colour! Buy that purple floaty Gap skirt from last night and you will be on fire! xo Em

Yes, I have been craving yellows, oranges, and tomato reds for spring! I even bought a tomato red crossbody handbag already... can't wait until the weather warms up...

Great choices! I love ruffles, so the first two are definitely thumbs up for me. Hot pink, orange, floral? Go for it for color's sake :D

When's our easiest blog project due? I need to know how long I can procrastinate and if I'll need to pull an all-nighter. Plus, I run on Filipino time, so make sure to tell me it's due sooner than it really is. Thank you much (I'm such a dork!)

I was super inspired by a recent Urban Outfitters catalogue where they showcased coral, orange, and bright teal for spring. So those are going to be my bright colors this year! My favorite is that hot pink belt...I say get it!

I love the melon color of the ruffle shirt and the bright pink belt.
I need some color too. I've been trying to break away from black and brown, but I've only gone as far as grey. I need to reach out a bit further.

Nice stuff. Color is the easiest way to perk up a wardrobe. I like to try new ones 'cause you can never tell what will work.

Marilou, you would look so great in that purple dress! Actually, you would look great in just about any color -- you have the prettiest skin tone and features to pull them off :)

I usually gravitate to more reds and pinks during warmer weather, but I am trying to branch out more to wearing citrus-y colors (greens, oranges, yellows).

I love the purple dress! Everything on your wishlist looks fabulous!

Btw, I'll do a review of the AC Clinic line after a week or two since I really want to test the products. ^o^

So far most of Etude House's products have not caused me breakouts, the Skin 79 AC set also seems promising. :) If you want to try Korean brands I suggest you also look into Skinfood since it's also a good brand. Some Korean products have broke me out. :(

I currently use the Skin 78 AC set and Cure Aqua gel to exfoliate but believe me my skin isn't perfect either. I recently had a break out due to trying out different BB creams hehehe. >o<"

I love the orange of that satchel. But then again, I've always been a big fan of brightly colored handbags. Like Kate Spade or Marc Jacobs. They're so fun.

I love all of these picks-- especially the ruffle dress. I think the color would be lovely on you. I wish I could shop at Banana, but it's out of my budget! Surprisingly, I haven't spent more than $30 on clothes since September!!!

I'm in desperate need of color as well as I've been so drawn to neutrals as of late. I love brights but I always worry about it being too attention-seeking. LOL. =)
