Preview: THE OFW

Outfit details

Santana shift dress - Rachel Sin (it's Haute Couture, oui?)
Feather head piece - H&M
Pearl earrings - Topshop, Gift from my dear Pearl, all the way from Dublin
Flower white/gold bangle - Banana Republic
Multi-strand pearl bangle - Ralph Lauren, La Baie
Emerald ring - Gift from EM

What and Where

You cannot believe the amount of photos I have to download and go through (alright, not me personally but y'all know what I mean!) from THE Ottawa Fashion Week and though I'm dying to share all the glitz and the glamour from all three nights, I'm afraid today's post is a mini-teaser of the fabulous things to come!

Before I rave and gush about all the amazing and incredibly talented designers I've met (here's looking at you Rachel Sin, Kania, Adrian Wu and Yola!), I want to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people I've met, they made all three nights not only exceptional but also very memorable:

Julianne Robichaud - the Publicist du jour for the Ottawa Fashion Week, she was brilliant as she was gorgeous! (A big thank you to the cool and stylish Christine A. as well!)

Wendy - the brain and charm behind the flourishing company: Beyond Events! If you want your special event or wedding to be seamless, perfect and incredibly unique, Beyond Events can make that dream an unforgettable reality!

Julie - this hilarious and stylish fashionista is the Creative Director of Pop Champagne. She makes me want to go shopping 24/7 (a girl can dream, yes?) and she makes me lol everyday. Yes, that's how often I go visit her blog.

Richard Tardif - the talented eye who captured that gorgeous (alright, I know I'm biased!) photo above. He is gracious and kind, he generously made a me CD of all these gorgeous photos from the event.

Mother Earth: Colour-Block Dress - Banana Republic, Gift from her daughter; Rough leather belt - Banana Republic, Gift from the same daughter; Pearl and diamond accessories - model's own.

"This is how big a sub I'm going to order at Quiznos later..."

Alexandra Gunn - the always chic and classy fashion editor for Ottawa Life Magazine.

Tania and Berlin - the adorable duo who is launching a blog about Ottawa's Street Style, watch out for these up and coming bloggers!

Melrose - the pretty face behind Methodical Melrose, accompanied by her dapper boyfriend, who patiently snapped photos of the runway models while she sat at front row!  =)

Ashelle - the closet geek from Pink Beautiful Love is everything her blog title is!

Sophie - she was literally glittering on the front row! This Fashion Journalism grad is an English girl living in Canada and guess what, we have something in common: this girl loves to shop, ça c'est rare, non?

Andre Bergeron - another talented photographer who captures superbe and vivid images from art-photo.ca.

Karol Putman and Sarah Brillinger - though these smart corporate girls claim they are not from the fashion world, their impeccable style begs to disagree!

Jes Lacasse - though we've missed each other, this stylist and wardrobe consultant was recently featured at Apt. 613, the city's leading blog on everything you need to know that matters.

Though I've missed Lenny of Wild Works and the cast and crew of Apt. 613, their presence were very much felt in the Tweetland and the blogosphere this weekend. I do hope to see them again soon and for those, I've met but missed to mention here, please let me know - it's never too late to share the love and shout-outs!
