What and Where

Just before I stepped right out of the door, I realized that today's outfit, except the beautiful black print on this dress, was an exact replica of the outfit I wore a week or so ago. So, my brilliant idea to show you that I do have some hidden creativity in me, I shoved a black leather belt in my purse (ha!) to switch with the nude one later. I casually pulled it out mid-photos and changed belts (see photos #3 and #4) right in the centre of the pedestrian street because you know, I'm cool like that.

This is also the first time I wore my cougar shoes and I do love them like crazy! Let's not talk about comfort here people and let's just focus on the love for all animal-prints. Though I'm yet to find the courage to pull a Double Double (sounds like a Tim Horton's order, doesn't it?) like Jentine did, as the look was both fierce and beautiful, someday I may. Meeeow!

It's Monday once again and thank God for wonderful, wonderful friends like my dear Pearl! She sent me a message this morning, all the way from Ireland, saying: I know Mondays are not your favourite days but hang in there! So, here's what I did, I visited my friend's blogs and came up with Monday perk me up versions of collagen:

If Nutella Cheesecake Brownies doesn't make you happy on a Monday, then I don't know if we can be friends... The ever stylish Valerie is not only gorgeous but she is one talented gal in the kitchen. Are you almost ready for Fall? The lovely Persis (isn't her name beautiful?) at Miles of Style reminded me that I do want a trench coat in Colour Coded: Mustard. Oh, I do know of another Monday cheer me up that may paint a little smile (or make that a huge grin especially if you adore statement necklaces) on that pretty little face, the ever charming Lisa at Respect the Shoes is having an awesome J. Crew Bling Giveaway: a beautiful crystal web necklace!

Happy Monday everyone and please stay tuned for upcoming new features here at Twenty York Street!

Nice to see you wearing your new shoes! I wouldn't have thought to put them together with the print in your dress, but once again, your style works. I guess animal print has basically become a neutral :)

I love that dress - and the shoes. And I think the nude belt works better with your heels - plus it's not as expected. Thanks for the shout-out!

You look fabulous, dear friend! I love your pattern mixing in this outfit. And wow, you were totally brave in swapping belts mid-street, haha. I like how candid some of these photos are, as if you're capturing everyday life in the city. Love it!

I cannot wait to see your thrift finds soon!
